Surelock Seals, LLC Privacy Notice

This privacy notice discloses the privacy and security practices for the Surelock Seals mobile application software.

Data Collection and Storage
No personal identifying information is collected by the Surelock Seals mobile application software. When scanning RFID tags, the GPS coordinates for each tag location is recorded and stored by the software for end-user validation. The only other data saved by the software is what the end-user specifically types into the text fields. This information is only stored on the end-user’s cell phone; it is only retained on the end-user’s cell phone until deleted by the end-user. All data may be deleted at any time by the end-user.

The data is only transmitted to other party’s that are specifically designated by the end-user who scanned the tags. For example, the company receiving the cargo and responsible for destination scanning of the seals.

No data of any type is transferred to or from Surelock Seals, LLC from the Surelock Seals mobile application software or the end-users cell phone. Surelock Seals, LLC has no access to the end-users cell phone, nor to the data typed into the mobile application software and stored on the cell phone.

Access Required to Components on End-User Cell Phone

In order for the RFID reader to connect to the end-user’s cell phone for power and for data transfer to the mobile application software from scanned seals, access to the microphone port on the end-user iOS device is required. The end-user must consent to microphone port access, or the RFID reader and Surelock Seals mobile application software will not function. There is no workaround feature available on the RFID reader that allows another type of connectivity to the end-user’s cell phone and the Surelock Seals mobile application software.

No other component access on the end-user’s cell phone is required by the RFID reader or the Surelock Seals mobile application software.

Your Access to and Control Over Information
Surelock Seals, LLC has no access to any of the information stored on the cell phone or entered by the end-user in the Surelock Seals mobile application software. That information is only accessible by the end-user.

The end-user dictates who receives the information when selecting the specific Send option. The end-user has complete control over the entered/saved information and may delete any or all of it at any time. Surelock Seals, LLC has no ability to connect to the cell phone and access or delete any data.

No login is required to use the Surelock Seals mobile application software. 

Security
Surelock Seals, LLC does not collect, store, transfer or transmit any end-user data or any other data associated with the Surelock Seals mobile application software. No analytical tools, advertising networks or third party SDKs have access to end-user data.
